A group of 14 buildings from the North End neighborhood that were saved during Vaughan Street Urban Renewal Project, circa 1972. There are four buildings on original location: James Neal House, 74 Deer Street; Gerrish-Nutter House, 64 Deer Street on the corner of High Street; Rev. Jabez Fitch House, 164 High Street; and the Nutter-Rymes doublehouse, 47-49 School Street. There are 10 buildings moved from nearby sites: Daniel Pinkham House from 190 Deer Street; Richard Shortridge House from 73 Deer Street; Simeon P. Smith House from 94 Russell Street; Whidden-Ward House from 115-117 Deer Street; Sugar Warehouse from 28 School Street; Hart-Treat House from 107 Deer Street; John Hart Jr. House from 63 Deer Street; Phoebe Hart House from 184 Deer Street; Jeremiah Hart House from 112 Deer Street; and the Hart-Rice House from 93-95 Deer Street. |
