Three letters between Mrs. C. Waldo [Gertrude] Pickett in New Castle, New Hampshire, and the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts, regarding shipbuilding in Portsmouth. Dated May 1973. Pickett wrote to the museum on May 4 in hopes of acquiring a list of the vessels built by Samuel Badger In Portsmouth from 1832 to 1857.
