The Cushings may have lived in Great Falls (Salmon Falls) NH in the Greek Revival stone house opposite the mills when he became mill agent at Great Falls from 1834 to 1838. By 1839 the Cushing family and their three eldest children were living in Little Harbor at the Wentworth Estate, which Mr. Cushing operated as a "gentleman farmer" until he died on August 6, 1849. |
