  2. S1123 - Schooner Janus Letter

    On one side a letter from W. M. Gzane of the Navy Yard to Commander J. Collins Long, Lietenant G. F. Pearson and Master Builder S. M. Pook dated 1859 requesting a careful examination of the Schooner Janus "employed in working the Diving Bell at the Yard..." The reply is on the second side which informs of the bad state of the Schooner Janus and its recent sinking.
