Description |
Half-hull lift model, starboard side, of Meteor, brown stained below water line, grey paint above water line, rudder attached, 4 5/8" x 4". Two labels, metal ('Meteor') attached to model, plastic label attached to backboard, 'steam screw/General Grant/Meteor'. Mounting board: black and burgundy or blue/green paint with gold trim and band, decorative scroll trim. Note: said to have been the last wooden-hulled merchant steamer built on the Piscataqua River until WW I. |
