View of the circa 1750 Jeremiah Hart House at 112 Deer Street, North End, Portsmouth, NH. Nearly all the buildings in the North End neighborhood were demolished during the Vaughan Street Urban Renewal Project. This building was relocated to The Hill. Photographer Lawrence G. Straus captured this image between June 15 and June 16, 1967, for the North End's urban renewal survey conducted by James L. Garvin. En verso, the reprint was processed Sept. 1988. |
