Images 1476-PS1480 are of the YMCA building (built in 1905) & Alfred W. Haven House on Congress Street, front and rear images, c.1918. Writing on some photos was possibly done by YMCA planning a garden behind the YMCA and the former Haven House, which YMCA purchased in 1916 from Haven heirs. (Reference P18.101) Image PS1478 is of the rear lot behind YMCA and Haven House, looking east. Once the garden & orchard of the Havens. Land is now part of the Worth Parking Lot. |
