A circa 1800 residence known historically as the Charles Blunt House at 383 Pleasant Street on the corner of Meeting House Hill, Portsmouth, NH. Image and report (see link) from the Historic District Survey, 1982-1983, by the Portsmouth Advocates, Inc. According to the report, Charles Blunt was the original owner, and by the 1840s to 1850s, a Capt. March lived there. March built clipper ships including the Franklin Peirce, the Frank Jones, and the Granite State. |
