Studio portrait of Evelyn Badger Carroll as an apparent young bride holding a bouquet of flowers. Undated. Evelyn was married twice. Her first husband was Freeman Stanwood Caswell who she married on June 21, 1919, in Portsmouth, NH. Her second husband was Charles P. Carroll who she married on Dec. 9, 1923, in Portland, Maine. Given the studio identification as St. Clair of Portsmouth, this photograph was most likely from her first marriage. En verso identification is handwritten in ink. |
