View of the Nathaniel K. Walker house at 171 Middle Street, Portsmouth, NH. Undated. The Walker house was substantially remodeled around 1900. Below and handwritten in pencil is the caption, "A. Walker, Middle St." This is Arthur Willard Walker, the son of Nathaniel K. Walker. After Nathaniel's death in 1880, it's possible that the renovations were done shortly after this. Also in view is the Timothy Upham House at 199 Middle Street. |
