Northern New England School of Religious Education group photograph on the steps of Hetzel Hall, University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH. En verso, the participants are identified; however, some of the text is missing as the photograph was trimmed after identification. The year after the name indicates their high school graduation class and appears to indicate Portsmouth High School students. Others without a year might be either adults or high school students from area school districts. Almost all the names are legible. These include the following: Franklin W. Webber; Erdene Beane '34; Mary Fernald '33, Helen Caswell '34, Howard Brackett '34, Dorothy Webber '32, Mildred Peterson '32, Marjorie E. MacDonald, Evelyn M. Jones, Doris L. Moulton, Laura M. Sumner, Arlene Johnson." Additional handwriting appears to correct the text cut off. The names include the following: Frances Sargent, Louise Matthews, Mr. [Rev. Frank?] Chatterton. Frank Chatterton was the minister of the South Church. |
