Group photograph of members of the Little Bowery A. C. Minstrel Show at the Portsmouth Theatre Chestnut Street, Portsmouth, NH. There is a "Little Bowery Athletic Club" banner on the proscenium. Date and photographer printed on front. One person identified is the show's director Harry L. Dowdell who is in the back row, sixth person from the left. He lived at 50 Cornwall Street. Another man, William Linchey (later the Portsmouth City Marshall) was Mr. Interlocutor (the emcee), and he is believed to be in the front row center wearing the white suit. |
