Looking north from Deer and Market streets across a recently bulldozed lot at the building on the corner of Russell and Market streets, known as 274-276 Market Street & 99-101-111 Russell Street in the North End, Portsmouth, NH. On the far left is the edge of the Simeon P. Smith House (94 Russell Street). The Simeon Smith House was moved to the Hill. The building that occupied 274-276 Market Street & 99-101-111 Russell Street was demolished. Current site of the Sheraton Hotel. |
