Firemen pose next to chemical engine No. 5 near the Hanover Street fire station during the 12th annual Portsmouth Fire Department muster and parade on Hill Street in the North End, Portsmouth, NH. Two of the firemen are identified. The driver is Eugene Hoyt, and the Chief Engineer John D. Randall standing between the chemical engine and horse. The brick building was demolished during urban renewal. |
