The 1807 Rundlet-May House at 364 Middle Street, Portsmouth, NH. Image and report (see link) from the Historic District Survey, 1982-1983, by the Portsmouth Advocates, Inc. According to the report, this is a "well documented mansion built by merchant James Rundlet probably to designs by Ebenezer Clifford of Exeter. The carvings are by William Deering and the front fence by joiner James Nutter. The property is an architectural landmark and preserved by the SPNEA." |
