Unidentified portrait of two young girls believed to be members of the Newton family of Portsmouth, NH. They appear to be the granddaughters of Mary Jane Robinson Newton (PS3026_009) as both photographs have identical dates with same photographer. If these are Newton girls, they must be the daughters of eldest son Elvin S. Newton and his wife, Alice Amelia Moore Newton. The eldest daughters were Neva Jane Newton (b. 1881) and Delta Grace Newton (b.1884). En verso is the date. |
