Snapshot of Doris DuBois Langelier at a get-together for local and state Democrats running for election in 1978 with Chip Carter, son of President Jimmy Carter, and held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vaughn, Pleasant Point Drive, Portsmouth, NH. The location of the event was described in the Portsmouth Herald on September 25, 1978. A photograph accompanied the article, and it is similar to one found on this page [page 15] in the Langelier scrapbook. That day, Chip Carter also campaigned in Concord. En verso is the year. |
