    Account book for William Fernald Jr., dated 1844 to 1851. Also includes a folder about the account book and William Fernald. Willam F. Fernald was a Portsmouth shipbuilder. His shop was at 10 Bow Street, although he had a shipbuilding business under his own name at North Mill Pond in Portsmouth as well as one as Fernald & Pettigrew on Badger's Island in Kittery, Maine. In all, more than thirty ships were launched from his shops.
