SS-210 launched at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard on 25 November 1940. Commissioned 1 May 1941. Sunk in the Pacific but crew survived and spent two and half years in Japanese prison camps. Before the war served as the ferry boat in the summertime to the Isles of Shoals. |
