Originally built ca. 1632. New Castle, NH. Fort William and Mary renamed Fort Constitution in 1808. Managed by the NH Division of Parks. Placd on the National Register of Historic sites in 1973. Only fort that was in continuous operation in every war up to and including the Korean conflict. |
