Deposition of John Foss, mariner, concerning the impressment by the British of Jospeh Moses who had sailed with Foss on the voyage of the ship "Nancy", Capt. James Orne, master, from Portsmouth to Savannah in December 1798. Sworn before Daniel Humphreys, notary public in 1801. The deposition mentions Savannah, GA, Jamaica, Cadiz, Spain, and St. Vincent.
