Hoyt & Dow art & music store store 17 Congress St (1890 Portsmouth Directory) sign in collection: the directory for The Mechanic's Block on the corner of Congress and Fleet showing C B Hoyt. It was the precursor of Hoyt's Office Supply on Market street which closed circa 2014 Also in the collection is blotter for Carter's Ink with C.B. Hoyt's name on it U.S.Naval Hospital death certificate lists a number for medical conditions Including: an epileptic seizure and being run over by a street car one week before his death. |
