Loan agreement from William Pepperell to Timothy Weymouth and James Gowen, dated December 7, 1753. Witnessed by Benjamin Chadbourn and Jonathan Barker. After the death of William Pepperrell, the loan was managed by his son-in-law Nathaniel Sparhawk, who signed the document on July 27, 1764, and January 12, 1767, as Weymouth and Gowen continued to make payments, including interest, toward the loan.
