List of names and streets of residence of men in the company of Sea Fencibles under Capt. Theodore F. Jewett. The Sea Fencibles were organized in Portsmouth on June 8, 1808. According to their articles of incorporation they were "a number of persons, consisting of masters and mates of vessels and other sea faring men of this States have associated and formed a miltary company for the purpose of defending the town and port of Portsmouth and the sea coast of this State..."
