Will of Amos Main of Rochester, N.H., March 24, 1760. Two account books, William B. Norton of Portsmouth, 1830-1840. Contract of obligation between John Lowe and Charles Cushing for Cushing to have legal access and privileges to a passageway held in common between the two that Lowe has recently improved. July 22, 1833. Later, this obligation was conveyed by Cushing to Samuel Green, September 26, 1835. Plan of land and buildings in Portsmouth adjacent to Water Street (later Marcy Street) belonging to the heirs of Capt. John Salter, deceased, April 29, 1839. Probate record, for the estate of Jonathan Judkins of Portsmouth. The state being deemed insufficient to pay "the just demands against said estate," its administrator, Lucy M. Judkins is granted license to sell at public auction so much of the real estate as will suffice to pay such charges, July 8, 1845. Promissory note for five hundred dollars to be paid to John Kinnear by Mary Kinnear, both of New Castle (?), August 4, 1846. Promissory note, John KInnear to Thomas E. Oliver, both of New Castle, dated May 14, 1852, for lease of a certain tract of land in New Castle previously transferred to Oliver by mortgage deed on November 24, 1849. Promissory note for $200 John R. Spinney to Augustus Shackley, both of Portsmouth, November 24, 1858. Receipt of $550.00 from Thomas E. Oliver to Elias Tarlton Jr., March 7, 1864. |
