Description Each Chrome-plated model is mounted on a stand and represents a submarine built at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard during World War II. 1940-1942 Models have a periscope above the conning tower and machine gun on deck; each is on a round base engraved with the name of a submarine and NY Portsmouth NH. Submarine names are: USS Grenadier; USS Grayling; USS Drum, USS Haddock, USS Marlin, USS Trout, USS Flying Fish; USS Finback.
