Provenance St. Mary's was built in 1872, and preceded the church now known as the Immaculate Conception. Immaculate was built after St. Mary's burned down in 1924. The painting was displayed in the "Families From Afar" exhibit in 1997. It was purchased from Robert Chase with another painting of the same church in 1997.
