Gov. Nelson Rockefeller of New York with Robert "Bob" Shaines, William Pocquette and an unidentified man at the radio station in Portsmouth, NH. Sponsored by the Portsmouth Young Republicans, Rockefeller delivered a speech at the Portsmouth High School on January 3, 1964. It was his first speech after the assasination of President John. F. Kennedy. A dinner was also held at the Rockingham Hotel.
