A 1928 kindergarten assignment done by Catherine Stulb at the Cabot Street School, Portsmouth, with Mrs. Calhoun as teacher. Also, the Portsmouth High School diploma earned by Catherine M. Stulb in 1940.

S1514 - Catherine Stulb Scrapbook

Catherine Stulb lived on Columbia Street in Portsmouth and taught school in Newmarket, N.H. and Sanford, ME. The scrapbook contains a written journal, newsclippings, postcards, photographs and other memorabilia of trips she made to the American West with two teaching colleagues - Madelyn Donovan and Marion Waterman - in the summer of 1952. The three had enrolled in a five-week summer school at the University of Wyoming and decided to drive across country and see as much as they could before taking classes. On June 26, 1952, they left Portsmouth in "Gaby," Marion's Ford and drove north through NH, Vermont and Ontario, Canada and then re-crossed the border at Plattsburgh and headed wes
