Bound volume containting handwritten letters by Edith Kimball Harris, writing for her aunt, Harriet McEwen Kimball, to Little, Brown & Co., regarding the 1911 re-publication of her 1889 "Poems." Letters date from 1911 to 1913 and include discussion of printing format and errors. Letters have been cut out of volume and were slipped in front.
The second half of the volume was used by an antique dealer in Portsmouth from 1962 to 1963. Entries include brief decriptions of items (chairs, tables, pitchers, bowls, candle sticks, etc.) with a few names of individuals making purchases. There is one entrie identifying an item as "Safford Jones trunk," presumed to be a trunk owned by William Safford Jones, minister at the South Church.
