Scope and Content
Loukas N. Coussoule. Some are identified by book number and volume number. Some, but not all, have been published. Mr. Coussoule’s collected poems, Scintillas, Sparks of Thought, was printed by the Strawberry Bank Print Shop in 1949.
Loukas N. Coussoule emigrated to Portsmouth, NH from Athens, Greece. As a student in 1927, he delivered an address celebrating the 100 th anniversary of Greek independence at Freeman’s Hall, Portsmouth, NH (NH Gazette April 4, 1927). He attended Tufts University and Boston University. During World War I he served as a sergeant in Battery O, Anti-Aircraft Battalion. He suffered injuries during the war. He later worked as a lawyer.
